Your next challenge is to Draw a Song.

Take one of your favorite songs and create a picture for that song. You can either take the name of the song and depict it literally, or draw a picture of what the song is about. Have fun with it, and be creative!

Take a few items that are on your desk, or floor and make an interesting arrangement and draw them using any medium.

Take your favorite book or a book that needs updating and give it a face lift. Use any materials you want and We may even use it to recover the book! If you want suggestions as to which books may need an update ask Mr. B or Mr. Casper.

Welcome to the Artist's Cafe Blog!

Art Challenge #1:

Create a Self Portrait.

Be creative, you can use any materials you want(pencils, photos, sculpture, paint, anything). It doesn't have to be an image of your face, it can be a picture of items that represent you as a person. Work on it at home or bring it in to an Artists Cafe meeting and we can work on it with you.

There is no due date, but bring it in and show us. We would love to see your work, and we may even display it!
